Hope you don't mind if I correct them.

The newborn Hepatitis B vaccine that my daughter received contained mercury at a dose over a hundred times higher than that okayed by the US FDA for a daily exposure in an adult. It's true (or seems true anecdotally) that some versions of the Hep B newborn jab do not contain mercury (my sister's paediatrician assured her the jab he used didn't), but there's no doubt my daughter's did; indeed the hospital brochure I was given at the time confirmed that it had mercury, arguing that the Danish study proved it to be safe. Researching later I easily found vaccinal batch information confirming the heavy metal inclusion.

Secondly I would say it's very hard to rule mercury out of any of the current wave of flu jabs, simply because mercury-free flu vaccines are produced in smaller numbers. The vaccine manufacturers, according to Robert F Kennedy Jr, under-produce mercury free flu jabs to satisfy loose recommendations and supposedly 'prove' they're on the case of removing Thimerosal.

I do take your point about fish; it seems a shame that humans have existed for thousands of years on high-fish diets only to exclude most of it now, but certainly additional loads of any heavy metal, including naturally occurring mercury in the diet, can't be good for those already injured by mercury.

Thanks for your friendly and caring comment, and I'm very grateful to accept those hugs!Erica Bandannahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06289166473144658097noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5734832309162188653.post-56618689390904003272010-06-10T18:51:11.686-07:002010-06-10T18:51:11.686-07:00You might find this post of use in your search for...You might find this post of use in your search for causes/treatment: http://scienceblogs.com/pharyngula/2010/06/autism_and_the_search_for_simp.php

As far as I can see, the only Australian vaccine that contains any quantity of mercury is the H1N1 ("swine flu") vaccine, and that was removed last year. Mercury does not appear to be used any longer as a preservative in children's vaccines (http://www.health.gov.au/internet/immunise/publishing.nsf/Content/handbook-appendix5).

Mercury is, of course, still present in some fish-based foods, due to pollutants.

Hope this is helpful to you, and that in our lifetime we can see effective treatments of the disorder. *hugs* to you and your family.infoaddicthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13117837922698162905noreply@blogger.com
